Head is cast from S-7 tool steel, magnetic nail set for square and plumb, sheeting, or any out of reach nail start. Triple heat treated for durability and performance. Head and claws are hardened, while center is 'drawnback' softer center acts as a shock absorber reducing chance of cracked or broken claws. Cylindrical wedges expands hickory in a 360 degree direction eliminating voids. Precision balance. Hickory handles for strength.
