With user safety in mind, the new Skil 9296-RT 7.5 Amp 4-1/2 in. Paddle Switch Angle Grinder features a non-locking paddle switch that automatically turns off when released or dropped. With other traditional grinders, the power switch is located on the top of the tool, but on the 9296-01, the power switch is found on the bottom of the tool right where you hold on to it. This way, the tool is powered when you're ready to use it and automatically turns off when released or dropped.
